Improving Employee Participation in Twin Transition

E-learning tool

The project promotes an inclusive twin transition in the European metal and machinery sector, addressing the challenges arising from digitalization and decarbonization. It aims to ensure that workers are prepared for labor market changes through upskilling, continuous training, and active participation in the transformation processes. The goal is to achieve a fair and sustainable adaptation where technological innovation and environmental sustainability go hand in hand with social inclusion.

Project Objectives:

  • Promote inclusivity in the twin transition process within the metal and machinery sector, ensuring that no group of workers is left behind.

  • Support upskilling and reskilling of employees to meet the demands of digitalization and sustainable production.

  • Encourage social dialogue between workers, employers, and stakeholders to foster cooperation during industrial transformation.

  • Enhance awareness about the environmental and technological changes shaping the future of the sector.
